VOCAL CLASSES
This Hybrid Class taught through a combination of Zoom and Thinkific will provide students with the tools they need to prepare a successful vocal audition. Students will learn about vocal function, style parameters, what casting calls are really asking for, choosing songs and how to prepare a song from both a technical and acting standpoint. Class will conclude with a mock audition where students will have the opportunity to put all of their new skills into practice. Students will record their individual audition cuts during our final class to be featured in the Semester Showcase.
ACTING CLASSES
Acting Instruction will focus on preparing and performing age-appropriate monologues, as well as scenes in class. Exercises will include Vocal Concentration/Memorization, and characterization. Anna Maria will instruct students in the craft of acting, learning basic stage presence, stage direction, beats, rhythm, and timing.
