July Summer Camps
SLTA is currently enrolling students for its Summer Camp 2025. The staff of SLTA has worked to create a diverse offering of classes to instill a practical, thorough knowledge of the craft of theatre in its students. We aim to provide a deeper understanding of the tools any actor needs in their acting toolbox. The summer session will consist of one week-long intensive and be divided into three age groups:
6-8, 9-11, 12-14.
Every day, we will begin with a check-in and brief meeting that will include all age groups. The camp will then branch off into specific techniques and areas of study. If you or your student is interested in participating in our summer session, please complete the online registration form and payment. Please note that there will be limited enrollment in each age group. Your spot is not secured until payment has been received. Payment must be made at the time of registration.
BOTH camps will take place at Shreveport Little Theatre, 812 Margaret Place, Shreveport, LA 71101

Christmas in July with Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer!
The summer session will consist of one week-long intensive and will be broken down into three age groups: 6-8, 9-11, 12-14.

Time: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Cost: $150 per student for the week-long session

New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA) + SLTA Collab
Shreveport Little Theatre & Academy is excited to announce a collaboration with New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA) for a week-long Musical Theatre Audition Prep workshop series.
Students ages 10-18 are invited to join the series where they will receive training focused on monologue and vocal audition prep, improv techniques, and musical theatre dance. Every day will begin with a check-in and brief group warm-up focusing the body and mind. Students will then branch off into specific techniques and areas of study.
Date & Time: July 14th-18th, from 9:00 am – 12:30 pm daily.
Cost: $100
NOCCA guest artists will be available for short private lessons in the afternoons following the workshops.
Please note that there will be limited enrollment for the workshop.

The summer session will consist of one week-long intensive and will be broken down into three age groups: 6-8, 9-11, 12-14.
